Tour Description

The north-east route to ascend Damavand is the longest approach to the summit. The height of the starting point known as Goosfand Sara is 2800 meters high, which is the lowest starting point compared to the other three ascent route. In exchange, the slope for this route is gentler than the northern and western approaches in most parts. Also, due to being near eastern and north mountain glaciers, we’ll see a range of beautiful sceneries in front of us as we ascend. Therefore, diversity is at the heart of this trail. Walking in a massive field, climbing rocks, traversing from the bottom of ice sheets, or trekking on a steep slope is all among the many experiences we’ll have on our ascent to the summit.

The accommodations are set in a way that we spend the first night at a foothill village in a local house and two nights at the tents in a shelter located at 4360 meters height. Moreover, this plan for the accommodation helps with acclimatization for a joyful trekking experience.
