“What the hell is a women only tour package?”
I was trying to find a week-long tour. I kept bumping into this concept that has become a trend in the past few years: women only travel to mostly middle eastern countries.
The first time I heard about it, I had some resistance. I could not even think about traveling just with a bunch of women. I thought to myself, why. However, the more I came across the trend, the more I became curious to try it once.
I thought to myself, it’s something none of my friends have ever done. So, it’d be a good story to tell others afterward even if it’s not as good! Plus, I came across this tour package to Iran that would allow me to go to certain places only if I were with a group of women. It was all due to the Islamic rules in the country. I bought it, and I have so much regret now.
Why? Because it turned out to be one of the most amazing vacations of my life. So, I now realize why I should have bought a women-only package the previous several times I have traveled to the middle-east. In case you cancel your tour booking, cancellation fees will apply:
• Up to 60 days prior arrival: 0% of the package price
• 59 to 30 days before arrival: 20% of the package price
• 29 to 15 days before arrival: 35% of the package price
• From 14 days before arrival to actual arrival: 75% of the package price
• No show: 90% of the package price
Your tour prices vary regarding your preferences and the season of your travel. After finalizing the price of the tour you have selected, you should pay a deposit equal to 20% of your tour cost. Then, we will issue a booking confirmation. You should transfer the rest at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the tour.
Yes, all of our tour schedules have the flexibility to change as a private tour. You could let us know your preferences and sites you’d like to visit, and we’ll change your itinerary accordingly. Also, you could let us know if you connect with a particular moment before your trip on the booking form or during your journey. So, we’ll put more of that moment in your plans. Such changes can also be made on each day during your trip with the consent of your guide.
Yes, you could change the duration of your trip before, during, or at the end of your trip. The private tours have more flexibility in the sense that you could add days in between your travels or at before and after your journey. However, for the small group tours, you could only add or reduce days from the start or the end of your trip. You could also add any of our specialized Iran tours such as trekking tours or festival tours to your travels as well and combine those with a classical tour package.
If your passport is not from the United States, Canada, or England, your visa process will take less than two weeks. We could help you to get an Iran visa. If you book any of our Iran tours, your visa fee (different than application fee) will be waived, and we’ll give this service to you free of charge. Yes, the services we have included in our packages are of high quality and decent. Most accommodations are +4 stars, and all transfers are with an air-conditioned vehicle. However, if you need to enhance or lower the quality of your services, you could let us know in the booking form. We’ll make the changes to your package accordingly.
If you’re taking a private tour, no, they are not fixed. The main characteristic of our “moments” feature is flexibility. You could add or reduce any moment on your journey based on your likes and dislikes. You could read more about our moments feature in our article about all moments. However, this feature may not apply completely on the small group tours as the flexibility is limited in group tours.
Yes, you could let us know the qualities you’d like your guide to have, and we’ll align one of our guides that match your preferences and is the best fit for you. However, this is possible for our private tours. For our small group tours, we choose the best guide based on the whole group and our knowledge of their preferences.
You could either get the packages as private tours on your preferred dates with whomever you’d like, or you could see the dates on the charts for small group tours.
You could book this package all year round. It has a different unique taste in each season. However, the spring, the end of summer and the beginning of fall are the best seasons for this package. During the summer, these cities could get a bit warm. They could also get a bit cold during the winter season.
We will recommend the best options in each city or village we visit together. We usually recommend restaurants that offer the most authentic and local dishes of that region. If you have any dietary restrictions, please do let us know in the booking form, so we prepare the best recommendations for you. Your guide can also give you different options for food during your stay here.
During this package, you’ll also spend a night or two at an Iranian family’s house and have dinner with locals.
It’s better if you book your trip at least a month before coming to Iran. However, during high season meaning March and April, if you’d like to come, it’s better to reserve your packages at least two months before to make sure you don’t miss out on booking the best hotels. Also, the visa process for specific countries such as England, the United States, and Canada will take longer. Therefore, if you are citizens of those countries, make sure to reserve a tour at least three months before your trip.
