A Glimpse into the Unknowns
The Magic Carpet
How long do you think it takes to tie a knot? How about 3000 knots?
Have you ever stood on top of a Persian carpet with a few thousand knots? Close your eyes and imagine standing on one!
I was sitting in my house staring at this Persian carpet my friend had gifted me years ago. Then, I realized how similar Iran is to a Persian carpet with so many knots all woven together. They create a land of mystical stories and colorful delights! In fact, I realized how differently I was looking at that gift after visiting Iran!
Standing on its beautiful design, I traveled through all the knots. Mainly, Kashan and Isfahan were cities full of handicrafts and authentic Persian dishes in their Bazaar. Oh, the hundreds of hand-painted Persian tiles around the mosques of Isfahan! They are woven together like the knots of that carpet in my house in Canada.
Just like I cannot see the number of knots of a Persian carpet from afar, this 5-day tour took me far into the more profound stories of the mystical land of Iran. Let me tell you the story of my trip through the itinerary. So, Maybe you decide to come to stand on this carpet and create your own knots of a journey through Iran!

Story of the Day
I had always heard that Iran is just a Muslim country with many mosques! Well, there is so much more into this carpet’s designs. Did you know how much Armenians, Georgians, and Chinese have done for this city’s progress through time? I got to experience it when I visited this Armenian neighborhood called Jolfa in Isfahan. It had the Vank cathedral at its heart!
I took a picture in my mind. It’s time to say goodbye till next time!
